Alexander Dömling receives the IAAM Distinguished Award
World-renowned researcher in the fields of miniaturization, automation of synthetic chemistry, and multicomponent reaction chemistry, ERC grant holder and leader of the ERA Chair project ACCELERATOR, Alexander Dömling, head of the Innovative Chemistry research group at CATRIN, has been honoured at the 1st IAAM Industrial Innovation and Development Conference in Ningbo, China.
The “IAAM Distinguished Award” is presented to experts in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the development of the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) and the broader field of advanced materials. During the conference, Professor Dömling also delivered a keynote lecture, focusing on the latest advances in chemistry and materials science.
“Receiving this award and the opportunity to give a plenary lecture at the conference was a great honour for me. I see it as recognition of the continuous effort of our Innovative Chemistry research group to advance cutting-edge chemical research. China is a global leader in science and technology, and being here in person is extremely valuable for learning, sharing experiences, and gaining a deeper understanding of the country’s dynamic innovation ecosystem,” said the award-winning scientist.
