The AMP4SKIN project focuses on utilizing the recombinant human antimicrobial peptide cathelicidin in various commercially available carriers to develop creams for topical application. This peptide, fused with a protective protein domain, is produced through a patented process in barley spikes grown on the accredited experimental fields of the ÚSOVSKO company.
Planned project results:
- 2x Jimp – Articles in a scientific journal: A review paper in 2024 and a research paper in 2025.
- Ztech – Proven technology: Procedure for testing the antimicrobial activity of the MBP-rhLL37 peptide in carriers for dermal use.
- Fuzit – Useful pattern: Antimicrobial peptide carrier for dermal use.
- O- Other Results: Poster presentation at the ECB International Conference in Rotterdam (2024) and another conference in 2025.
